Process-reliable laser cutting
In comparison to microjoints, nanojoints only fix the component to the scrap skeleton via a small stop point at the bottom end of the kerf. This leads to process-reliable machining of the sheets as it prevents the components from tilting. Damage to contours is only minimal and it is easier to release your components from the scrap skeleton. Your nesting can be tighter, you utilize your resources more efficiently, and benefit from higher productivity.
A comparison of nanojoints and microjoints
Nanojoints make process-reliable and resource-efficient machining of your components possible: higher productivity, better part quality and simpler part removal thanks to minimal fixing in the scrap skeleton. In many cases, no reworking is necessary. Your orders can be processed highly productively – independent of the component geometry.
In comparison, microjoints fix the component in the scrap skeleton with a tab across the entire sheet thickness. Even though the procedure is also reliable when processing your orders with microjoints, the visible damage to contours usually requires time-intensive manual post-processing of the components. Part removal is more complex with thin sheet thicknesses, with mid-range sheet thicknesses it is almost impossible.
Part Station
The Part Station is an efficient solution for sorting sheet metal parts. In combination with the Part Separator and by using micro or nanojoints, the parts can be separated from the sheet metal without causing scratches, and time savings of up to 80% can be achieved. The Part Station sorts the loosened parts into different boxes based on the purchase order. Mobile and flexible use of the Part Station in the production hall is made possible by the integrated wheels.
Fiber Care
Industrial fiber lasers from TRUMPF are long-distance performers: thanks to active laser power control and sufficient power reserves, they deliver consistently precise cutting results even after countless hours of operation. We are so confident in this longevity that we will provide you with all service parts for your TruFiber laser free of charge for five years. This applies to every new 2D laser cutting machine in connection with a service agreement.
