The TruLaser Cell 8030 sets the standard for 3D cutting of hot-formed components and can be configured to your needs with flexibility. This allows you to choose between the large version for cutting door frames and complete side sections or the smaller version for producing single parts and segments of the body in white. As a result of new developments and optimized details, it offers even greater production reliability, combined with arguably the highest productivity on the market. You can increase your profitability thanks to options such as the Smart Approach, or Dynamic Level 3.

Minimal non-productive time

The optimized rotary table is the fastest on the market. With the rotation time of 1.8 seconds (which is 20% shorter), the overall performance is increased with each component.

Compact footprint

The setup of the TruLaser Cell 8030 is not only compact, but also extremely user-friendly and ergonomic. The rotary table can be easily accessed from both the front and the sides. The machine layout configuration is flexible so that the hall can be set up according to your requirements.

X-Blast Nozzle Technology

In comparison with standard nozzles, the X-Blast Nozzle has twice the bandwidth. This means the working distance of the nozzle can be increased, resulting in considerably fewer nozzle collisions. The process stability is also improved, which increases the quality of your components.

Dynamic Level 3

The Dynamic Level 3 option ensures your TruLaser Cell 8030 accelerates even faster. This means that, for complex components, you can reduce your cycle times by up to 7%.

Laser cutting a door frame

With the TruLaser Cell 8030, you can cut the large dimensions of a hot-formed vehicle side section very quickly and with reliably high quality with the TruDisk laser and X-Blast technology.

Laser cutting of a cross beam

Compared to the previous model, the TruLaser Cell 8030 cuts the hot-formed vehicle cross beams with around 10% higher machine dynamics, 10% lower non-productive times, and a 30% quicker punching slug check. The TruDisk laser and the X-Blast technology ensure consistently high cutting quality here.

Hot-formed and laser-cut crossmember

Mass series parts can be processed particularly cost-effectively on the TruLaser Cell 8030. The NC programming also provides you with maximum flexibility for component geometry.

Laser-cut B-pillar

The TruLaser Cell 8030 reliably cuts 3D components such as B-pillars for cars. The processing of hot-formed components with the laser is more cost-effective than using standard processes. With the flexible laser tool, components can also be easily adapted to new requirements – even at a later time.

TruTops Cell

TruTops Cell provides you with everything you need for the convenient programming of your 3D laser processing – no matter whether this is the programming of laser cutting, laser welding, or laser metal deposition programs.

You can select the perfect solid-state laser for your application, which you can then optimally combine with the TruLaser Cell 8030.

ObserveLine Comfort

There are various reasons why cutting slugs remain in the finished part. With the ObserveLine Comfort optical measuring procedure, you can detect this error quickly since this option checks every contour for a complete cut – all this is carried out twice as fast as comparable systems on the market. ObserveLine Comfort has several advantages compared to measurement using distance regulation. The process reduces the measuring time and you can even measure smaller hole diameters and angled punching slugs.

ObserveLine Professional

Minor nozzle collisions can cause minimal incorrect positioning of the cutting optics, invisible to the operator. This results in increased scrap and associated costs. The ObserveLine Professional optical measuring procedure checks the positioning accuracy of the machine at regular, freely definable intervals, without the need for refitting and with virtually no effects on the cycle time. Incorrect positioning is detected and the number of rejects is reduced.

Smart Optics Setup

Smart Optics Setup is a fixture attached to the machine base unit which cuts test sheets and readjusts the machine. Implementation is even easier due to standardized macros, saving time and money.

Smart Approach

The Smart Approach function optimizes and improves the approach behavior of the machine when the edge of the component is pierced. This patented process reduces cycle time by up to 9%, while ensuring maximum process reliability.

FocusLine

FocusLine enables the program-controlled setting of the focal position depending on the type of material and the material thickness. The position is adjusted using a mirror subject to air pressure, influencing the curvature of its surface.

FastLine

FastLine improves and optimizes the approach behavior of the machine during piercing for contour cutting. Depending on the type of material and the material thickness, as well as the number of contours to be processed, you can increase the productivity of your system by up to 60%.

Control interface

You can integrate new devices easily and cost effectively into the machine control via the pneumatic and electrical interface.

TruTops Cell Shopfloor

TruTops Cell Shopfloor enables you to adjust programs more easily, more quickly, and more reliably directly at the machine. Navigating within the NC program is incredibly simple, as the contour to be changed with the corresponding NC text can be selected by a simple click of the mouse. All changes made are visualized immediately and ensure unprecedented reliability when working in the program.

Comfort processing time display

The Comfort processing time display ensures that you are perfectly informed at all times. It displays the remaining processing time of the component currently being processed, and provides additional information on the current status of the manufacturing job.

Digital connection and integration for smart solutions

Seamless integration of multiple TRUMPF machines into your own software environment is very easy. We have the right solution for every combination, whether it be integration into Oseon or a connection to monitoring and analysis tools. A connection to third-party software systems is also possible with our interfaces based on the OPC UA standard.
